Perfect location, spacious apartment, immaculately cleaned, relaxing pool, friendly and welcoming locals, peaceful village.

Our stay at El Greco was wonderful! The owner, Manolis, was attentive and cute. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, fruit, and juice upon arrival, a lovely touch. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a self-catering holiday. The pool was also great and we had it to ourselves on several mornings. The location was ideal, with Voulisma Beach just a 5-minute walk away. We enjoyed exploring the nearby supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants. Although there were a couple of small drawbacks like single beds instead of doubles and some noise from other guests, overall I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We got great value for our money at the apartments. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with two air conditioned units. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and close to supermarkets, bakeries, and lovely restaurants. The staff, especially Manolis the host, were cute and accommodating. The cleaning ladies did an excellent job, and we were really surprised with a bottle of wine, fruit, and juice in our room upon arrival. The access to the roof with shaded seating and a beautiful view was a lovely bonus. We highly recommend this place for a great stay.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was having more bench space in the kitchen.

The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The daily cleaning service was outstanding, with fresh bedding and towels every other day. The welcome pack was a pleasant surprise, and the daily treats of fruit and cake were delightful. The bookcases filled with books and games were a nice touch. The local beach is a hidden gem, perfect for a refreshing swim. There are numerous local tavernas and bakeries within a short walk, as well as supermarkets for convenience. The small balcony overlooking the pool was a nice spot to relax. The access to the gym was a great bonus. The location is perfect for exploring the south coast. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful vacation at a small and quiet village near beautiful beaches. Our host, Manolis, was amazing and even upgraded our accommodation to suit our family better. The pool was a hit with our kids and the location was perfect for exploring the eastern side of Crete.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from Voulisma Beach and conveniently close to Heraklion. The highlight of our stay was the warm welcome we received from Manolis and his wife. They even had a bottle of homemade wine, fruits, and chocolate waiting for us upon our arrival. The kids loved the pool and the friendly atmosphere of the village. We also appreciated Manolis' recommendations for sightseeing spots in the area. We will definitely choose El Greco Apartments again for our next family vacation in Istro.

For families with children, it would be great to have some more kid-friendly amenities and activities available on-site.

The location of these apartments is perfect, just a short walk to the golden beach. There are also two really nice restaurants nearby, making it convenient for dining out. the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with daily cleaning and fresh sheets provided. the owner is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

Love staying here, always come back. Super helpful staff even printed some docs for me once. Has everything I need: Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen stuff, AC. Also can do laundry and they have a gym. Great location near hiking, fishing & surfing. Even massage! Cots & pool for the kids. Coming back for holiday.
